Today RA government commission on coordination of charitable programs has held a meeting presided at by commission chairman S. Ter-Simonyan.
The commission has reviewed 8 charitable programs, including the Holy See of Echmiadzin-implemented projects for the construction of a christenings hall, reconstruction of the tourist entrance of the Holy See, refurbishment of the old building and installation of a water-main for the Vazgenian Seminary in Sevan town, the "Hayastan" AAF-implemented projects for heating system engineering and fitting at Nork Orphanage of Yerevan, import of bitumen for North-South Highway in the NKR, as well as the Arabkir Joint Child Charity Fund-implemented project for establishment of a new pediatrical ward and reconstruction of the old buildings in Arabkir medical center.
ARDA Charity Fund will carry out "Gyumri-6" project to improve the conditions for the stay of children in Kindergarten no.6 of Gyumri. "Hand-in-Hand" NGO will realize the Free Mobile Dental Clinic Project in 2005-2007.
The meeting has also discussed and approved a number of sub-contracts under the ongoing programs, as well as several projects regarding the import of freight destined to different organizations operating in Armenia.
