On May 22, 2008, a RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan-headed government delegation will leave for Minsk, capital of the European of Belarus on a working visit to attend a planned session of CIS Council of Heads of Government. The delegation will comprise chief of government staff David Sargsyan, deputy foreign minister Gegham Gharibjanyan, RA permanent representative in CIS statutory and other bodies Oleg Yesayan, RA authorized representative in the economic affairs commission by the CIS Economic Council Artak Vardanyan, heads of units from the Government Staff and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
The heads of government will examine about two tens of questions concerning the CIS-member States' cooperation In particular, they are scheduled to discuss and decide upon the implementation status of those assignments issued at the October 5, 2007 session of CIS heads of state and at the November 22, 2007 session of CIS heads of government regarding the development of a draft strategy for the economic development of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the proposals on the conduct of coordinated transport policies by CIS-member States and the preparation of a complex of joint endeavors towards the increase of CIS-member States' food security, the draft convention on frontier cooperation of CIS-member States, the draft convention on the legal status of migrant workers and the members of their families of the state-participants of the Commonwealth of Independent States to sign the Cooperation agreement for professional training, improvement of professional skill and retraining of experts in the field of hydrometeorology, the decision on measures aimed at the updating, modernization and repair of the common park of rolling stock, the concept note on increase of operational reliability of bridge constructions on the highways of CIS-member States for the years 2008 - 2015, the decisions on financial and organizational questions, as well as the cooperation in customs, humanitarian and other spheres.
