RA government commission on coordination of welfare programs met, chaired by commission chairman Simon Ter-Simonyan.
The commission has discussed 11 programs, including: 2 programs funded by Hayastan AAF for equipment of secondary schools No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 in Artik town of Shirak marz and improvement of Art School after Hovik Edgaryan SNCO in Parakar village of Armavir Marz of the Republic of Armenia. There have also been approved the programs carried out by the American-Armenian Medicare Benevolent Union concerning the installation, fitting and commissioning of heating systems for two blocks of Healthy Future Medical Center and Children
's Anti-tuberculosis Sanatorium in Dilijan.The meeting has similarly endorsed Holy See of Etchmiadzin-financed programs for the construction of a church in Arabkir district, installation of a telecommunications network for the monastic building, installation and programming of a LG-STAREX-CS-1000 automatic telephone exchange for the Mother Church, as well as a program entitled "Implementation of mapping and survey work on the site of Kathoghike Church in Yerevan.
The "Height-5165" French-Armenian charitable association-implemented programs referred to as "Echmiadzin-13 Outpatient Tooth Care Services," "Vardenis-13 Tooth Care Services," "Gyumri-13 Tooth Care Services," and "Gyumri-13 Radiological Diagnosis Center" respectively will provide free medicare to vulnerable households.
The meeting has also discussed and endorsed a number of by-projects under standing programs, as well as programs on import of charitable freight sent to various organizations operational in Armenia.
