RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan sent a message to the participants of the 8th congress of the Association of Veterans of War, Labor and Law Enforcement Bodies, in which he wrote in particular:
"Dear Veterans,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of the Government of Republic Armenia, I am greeting the participants of the 8th congress of the Association of Veterans of War, Labor and Law Enforcement bodies. We know that for over than two decades already your organization has been conducting active and fruitful activity on the whole territory of the Republic of Armenia to voice the interests and concerns of our merited veterans. You perform an important and valuable mission in the sphere of military - patriotic education of the young generation and support those veterans who are in need of help and attention.
Your work is especially appreciated in this period of statehood engineering. Over the last decades we have had both losses and achievements, our values have incurred certain changes, while the respect and esteem for the senior generation - the veterans - did not lost their value. Many of you have defended our homeland with weapon in hand, with hard work you have confirmed your adherence to the development and prosperity of Armenia. We cannot forget it.
Your presence reminds us about our glorious past and inspires to new victories not only at present, but also in the future. Today, expressing our gratitude, we emphasize that we express our support and estimation not only by means of words. During its activities, the government will keep in the center of special attention the problems of our veterans. You know these problems best of all. There are problems which we should solve together. We are ready to cooperation and teamwork.

Once again, I greet the participants of the congress and wish fruitful work to you, as well as -robust health, long life and all the best to all our veterans."
