Introducing to the ministry staff RA Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan who has been appointed minister under a presidential decree and congratulating her on her appointment, the Prime Minister touched upon the realization in our country of a uniform cultural policy, the development of the national cultural patrimony and a number of other issues concerning the activity and the programs of the ministry. Tigran Sargsyan has said in particular:

"We face serious challenges. I feel that the moods which prevail in our society today cannot be changed without art workers. At the same time, we are well aware that it is the most complex sphere. Why? Because we have numerous art workers and bright individualities, the Armenian people have a wealth of talented people devoted to the nation. But the brighter they are, the more difficult it seems to work with them, because we have to take into account their distinctive features and, at the same time, to ensure a uniform policy in the Republic of Armenia. In this respect, the role of a minister is extremely important. It is important that in the person of Hasmik Poghosyan, we have the one to enjoy your trust and the trust of art workers. It is the pledge for success of the ongoing programs. Unity in the sphere of culture is extremely important.

The second task is the following: we must get rid of provincial thinking, we should not try to imitate the experience of other cultures instead we should rely on our culture that it is quite natural. We must appreciate ours. Our culture should be based on national values, and those devoted to the national culture have to be at the forefront. Here we have to make serious efforts.

I want to take up another burning issue: namely the way we represent the Armenian culture and arts in our society. Here, we must do serious work: modern technologies and approaches are still absent in us. Take an example
