Today RA government commission on coordination of charitable programs has held a meeting at the Office of Government presided at by commission chairman S.Ter-Simonyan.
The commission has reviewed 6 haritable programs. In particular, it has discussed and approved the Holy See St. Etchmiadzin-sponsored project for the transformation of a former kindergarten on V.Kostanian street of Etchmiadzin town into an old-age asylum, which is aimed at the improvement of asylum residents' living conditions. "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund will finance the purchase and installation of systems of ventilation and air conditioning for the Strategic Political-Military Educational Center of RA Ministry of Defence, furniture manufacturing and free delivery to school No. 2 in Spitak town of Lori marz, fabrication and free delivery of blackboards to Areg village school in Aragatsotni marz, as well as the construction of external gas-main for the boiler-house of school No. 32 in Gyumri. The program entitled "Installation of New Windows in the Big Concert Hall of Sayat-Nova Music School SNCO" will be carried out by KAZA Swiss humanitarian fund.
The meeting has similarly discussed and approved a number of sub-contracts passed under previous programs, as well as several projects concerning the import of freight destined to different organizations operating in Armenia.
