RA President-elect, Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan received RF Deputy Foreign Minister, State Secretary Grigory Karasin. First, Mr. Karasin conveyed warm greetings on behalf of RF President Vladimir Putin and RF President-elect Dmitry Medvedev by mentioning that RA President-elect Serzh Sargsyan's upcoming visit to the Russian Federation is under preparation in Moscow as the strengthening of bilateral relationship and the further expansion and development of cooperation are given a special focus in the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, the parties have referred to the post-electoral developments and the political situation in Armenia. RA President-elect, Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan said that the stability of our State and the people's safety are well above all other interests and assured that any further action will be based on this top priority and will aim the rule-of-law in the country.

Also, Serzh Sargsyan emphasized the need for national consolidation, an atmosphere of tolerance and openness to dialog in Armenia by reiterating his readiness to engage in a dialog with all those concerned about the future day of our country and the destiny of its people.
