President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmud Ahmadinejad congratulated RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan on his victory in Armenia's presidential election. The congratulatory message states in part:
"I warmly congratulate the government and the people of Armenia, as well as yourself on your election to the post of RA President.
I am hopeful that during your tenure of office, those deep, strong and ever expanding relations between our two countries will continue developing, and the friendly ties between the two peoples will redouble in force.
Wishing you robust health and success, as well as -happiness and prosperity to people of Armenia, I hereby invite you to visit the Islamic Republic Iran."
