RA government commission on coordination of charitable programs met, presided at by commission chairman S. Ter-Simonyan.
The commission has examined 7 charitable programs. In particular, there have been discussed and authorized: "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund-implemented program "Repair of children
's and youth's shooting school of Yerevan," an Armenia's Social Investment Fund-sponsored program referred to as "Cleaning and heating system building for the sports-cultural center in Nubarashen, "Howard Karagezjan" public charitable medical organization-carried out program, entitled "Free Medical Aid for Children," the following programs to be carried out during 2008 referred to as "Periodic disease detection in child patients, their examination, treatment and supply with medicines" and "Free distribution of hearing aids," a KASA Swiss Charity Fund-implemented program on granting of chairs to the Yerevan Arts and Literature Museum SNCO after Yeghishe Charentz.The purpose of the Education by Means of Culture Program as carried out by "Cross of the Armenian Unity" public charitable-cultural organization is the accessibility of arts for children living in different regions of the country.
The meeting has similarly discussed and approved a number of contracts and arrangements passed under standing programs, as well as several projects of import of charitable freight destined to various organizations operating in Armenia.
