Today the Jubilee Commission on Hrant Matevosyan's 70th Anniversary Preparations has met under the chairmanship of Prime Minister A. Margaryan.
Discussed was the implementation status of the assignments given at the previous meeting with reference made of the annual agenda. All the assignments set were reported to have been fulfilled. Commission membership was presented the program of regional events. The meeting was notified that resources had been drawn up from the Government's Reserve Fund to finance the repairs of Ahnidzor-Lorhout road section leading to the writer's place of birth and staging of "Neutral Zone," a play by the famous writer. Over two dozens of planned events were said to be in progress with the balance being under preparation now.
