Today RA Minister of Territorial Administration Mr. Hovik Abrahamyan has received Millenium Challenge Account Country Director for Armenia Mr. A. Rassin and the delegation of the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Relations Committee. In attendance were RA Minister of Transport and Communications Mr. Andranik Manoukyan, RA Minister of Agriculture Mr. David Lokyan and RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration Mr. Vacheh Terteryan.
Meeting agenda included discussion of issues bearing on the pace of the work carried out jointly with the Millenium Challenge Account. During the meeting, Mr. Abrahamyan handed over to Mr. Rassin Armenia's bid for the Account. Minister Abrahamyan has also briefed the guests on the measures implemented by the Armenian government under the PRSP, as well as on the programs executed in collaboration with international organizations and the World Bank, in particular.
