On November 21, 2007, RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan-headed government delegation will leave for Ashkhabad, capital of Turkmenistan, on a two-day working visit to attend the planned session of the CIS Council of Heads of Government. The delegation will comprise RA Minister-Chief of Government Staff Manuk Topuzyan, RA Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Gegham Gharibjanyan, Republic of Armenia Permanent and Authorized Representative to CIS and Other Regulatory Bodies Oleg Yessayan, RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan Aram Grigoryan, Republic of Armenia Authorized Representative to Economic Affairs Commission by the CIS Economic Council Artak Vardanyan, heads of corresponding departments of the RA Government Staff and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

The heads of government are scheduled to discuss over two tens of issues regarding the cooperation of the CIS countries in a broad range of spheres. In particular, they will review the implementation status of the 2003-2010 program of key action for further development and enhancement of efficiency in the economic interaction between CIS-member States, the realization of more in-depth analyses of economic development, integration processes and overall economic situation, the work done by the Council of Heads of CIS-member States Statistics Services and the CIS Interstate Statistics Board regarding the trends and dynamics traced in the CIS-member States' economic cooperation towards the fulfillment of the decisions passed by CIS supreme executive bodies. The session agenda also includes discussion of CIS-member States' collaboration in interregional and borderline matters, energy, transportations, anti-aircraft defense, humanitarian and other spheres, as well as examination of organizational and other issues.
