RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan's Message of Condolences on Passing Away of Albert Yavouryan
I was deeply saddened by the news of the passing away of Albert Yavouryan
We have suffered a great loss: one of the 20th century
's outstanding film cameramen has died. Albert Yavouryan succeeded a real breakthrough in the soviet cinematic art. Yavouryan's works were far ahead of his time. By means of his traveling camera, Yavouryan managed to rid the movies of the theatrical stereotypes and separated cinematography from the dramatic art once and for all.Albert Yavouryan never hesitated to fix the real life, the inner man and the human character through his camera. Time turned out to be too severe to him, while his art is appreciated at its true worth by the contemporaries.
I bend my head before the memory of the great Master and express my deep sympathy to the family, relatives and friends of Albert Yavouryan.
