Today RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan received the delegation led by RF Defense Minister Anatoly Serdiukov who is in Armenia on official visit.
On greeting the guests, the Prime Minister emphasized that the government of Armenia was interested in promoting the cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation in different fields inclusive of the military sphere on both bilateral and multilateral levels. According to the Prime Minister, such cooperation is in the best interest of our nation and the Armenian government will do its utmost to expand and strengthen it in future.
Based on the results obtained from the meetings had during the current visit, the RF Minister of Defense expressed confidence that his visit would stimulate the deepening of the Armenian-Russian military cooperation.
The parties have also discussed questions with relation to the strengthening of stability and security in the region and, in this context, the possibilities for defying the modern challenges.
