Today RA Prime Minister A. Margaryan has received the chairman of the Senate group for French-Armenian friendship Senator Bernard Pirasse, Mayor of Bourg-de-Valence, and his first deputy Mr. Jacques Colette.

Prime Minister A. Margaryan extended his gratitude to the French Senate for adoption of the law on recognition of the Armenian Genocide and added that Armenia appreciated very much Mr. Pirasse's personal contribution in this matter. According to him, the existing high-level relationship between the two Presidents was a strong incentive for building on the traditional French-Armenian friendship including the establishment of closer ties of cooperation between individual regions and towns.
