Today messages of condolence continued to be received in connection with the death of Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan.



The message signed by Syrian Arab Republic Prime Minister Nadji Otri reads as follows in particular: "It is with deep sorrow that I learned of the premature demise of Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan. We knew Mr. Margaryan as an important personality serving honestly and faithfully to his country and people."



On the occasion of the passing away of RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan, on behalf of the Government of Lithuania and himself, Prime Minister Gediminas Kerkilas has sent a message of condolence which reads as follows in particular: "I am convinced that Andranik Margaryan's endeavors for the benefit of Armenia will be continued and his bright memory will always prevail in the hearts of the Armenian people."



In connection with the death of Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan, deep condolences to the Government and people of Armenia have been expressed by Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Nirek Topolanek."



"On behalf of the entire Millenium Challenge Corporation and myself, I wish to extend our most sincere condolences to the people of Armenia on the untimely death of Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan. I have had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Margaryan as the Chairman of the Governing Council of the MCA-Armenia and was deeply impressed by his efforts directed towards the improvement of lives of all Armenians, especially rural farmers. His dedication and commitment to the people of Armenia will certainly be missed." - Ambassador John Danilovich wrote in his message.



"I was greatly saddened to learn about the sudden death your Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan. His long tenure as Prime Minister allowed him to make major contribution to stability and reforms in Armenia and to usher a new era in Armenia's relations with the European Union," - Council of Europe Commissioner General to Foreign Policy and Security Javier Solana wrote in his message.



"We share in the deep grieving of our respectable Andranik Margaryan's relatives, friends and colleagues. The image of kind-hearted, respected and renowned leader will long prevail in the memory of those who knew him,/" - President of the Armenian Peace Fund, People's Artist of the USSR Edward Mirzoyan said in his message of condolence.



During the day, messages of condolence have been received from the Union of Armenians of Ukraine, the Armenian Community of Donetsk Region of Ukraine, the Armenian Community of Moscow city, other Armenian communities and minorities, Mekhitarian Cultural Center of Paris, RA National Academy of Sciences, Institute of Literature, National Library of Armenia, Armenian State Pedagogical Institute after Kh. Abovian, Yerevan State Engineering and Building University, leadership and staff of the Musical Society of Armenia.
