Today the National Assembly Speaker Tigran Torosyan-led State Funeral Comission, established in connection with the death of RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan, has met at the Office of Government to discuss organizational issues and pass instructions regarding the ceremony of funeral.
In line with the funeral protocol, on March at 10:30 a.m., the body of the Prime Minister will be taken out of his home and a last farewell ceremony will be held in front of his place of residence. At 10:40, the funeral procession will move in the direction of the House of Government along Avan-Arinj, Acharian, Myasnikian, Heratzi and Nalbandian streets as far as the bulding of the Ministry of Finance and Economy. At 11:05, the procession will make a halt in front of the headquarters of the Republican Party of Armenia /Melik-Adamian str./. At 11:10, the procession will walk towards the main entrance of the House of Government and will make a short halt there. Then at 11:20, the procession will march towards the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater after A. Spendiaryan /Republic Square, Amirian street, Mashtotz avenue, Tumanian street/. At 12:00, the ceremony for bidding the last farewell to Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan will commence. At 14:30 p.m., the body of the Prime Minister will be taken out of the building of the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater after A. Spendiaryan /starting from the Square of France, along Sayat-Nova avenue as far as Abovian street/. At 14:50, the funeral procession will move towards the Pantheon in Komitas park /Sayat-Nova avenue, Khanjian street, Agathangelos street, Arshakouniats avenue/. At 15:00 the funeral ceremony will be performed.
As decided by the State Commission, the last farewell ceremony for Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan will be broadcast live by the Public Television of Armenia.
