The process of organizational work for the EPC Summit to be held in Armenia discussed
The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Arayik Harutyunyan, received members of the European side’s preparatory team for the 8th Summit of the European Political Community, Helene Holm-Pedersen, Director of General Secretariat for External Relations of the Council of the European Union, and Marilyn Josephson, Advisor to the Staff on Foreign Policy. The Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, issues related to the process of organizational work for the 8th EPC Summit to be held in Armenia in May were discussed.
Arayik Harutyunyan stressed the importance of holding the summit in Armenia at a high level and noted that preparatory work in this direction is being carried out within the specified time frame. The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister expressed gratitude for constantly maintaining cooperation and sharing experience and emphasized that in order to hold the summit at a high level, Armenia is in active contact with EU partners, as well as with the organizers of the countries that hosted the EPC summits in previous years.
The interlocutors discussed further steps and events related to the holding and organization of the summit.
