The Government of the Republic of Armenia

Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan today received the delegation led by Gauthier Ricor, President of the South Caucasus Group of the Movement of the Enterprises of France. The meeting was also attended by French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies.

Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the continued development of economic cooperation between Armenia and France, emphasizing that the visit of such a representative delegation to Armenia is an important indicator of the expansion of bilateral business ties. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister touched upon the importance of cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries, especially in terms of formation of new quality business culture, including new knowledge, technologies and capabilities along with the attraction of investments.

During the meeting, the representatives of French private companies referred in detail to the main areas of their activities and expressed their willingness to use their accumulated experience and professional potential to implement investment programs in Armenia in various formats. Touching upon possible areas of cooperation, Tigran Khachatryan assured that the Government is making consistent efforts to strengthen ties between the business circles of the two countries and make the Armenian investment environment more attractive to French companies.
