Deputy PM Tigran Khachatryan receives Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan today hosted the delegation led by Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili.
Welcoming Minister Kvrivishvili’s visit to Armenia, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that deepening cooperation between Armenia and Georgia is viewed by both sides as an important commitment, which is reflected in the current dynamics of bilateral relations.
Highlighting the need for continuous strengthening of economic cooperation in parallel with active political dialogue, the interlocutors exchanged views on bilateral trade, tourism, energy, communication and telecommunications, as well as other important areas of cooperation. In this context, both sides emphasized the need to expand and deepen existing cooperation aimed at realizing the untapped potential in bilateral relations and to use the opportunities arising from it more effectively.
Tigran Khachatryan and Mariam Kvrivishvili also exchanged views on regional connectivity programs, referring to the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative and the opportunities for developing bilateral relations within the framework of its implementation.
