The regular session of the interdepartmental working group for addressing water sector issues took place
Today, the regular session of the interdepartmental working group established by the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia N690-A dated 22.07.2024 to develop a strategy for the water sector, address problems recorded in the sector, and develop a program of actions arising from them was held under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan.
During the session, the need to build biological treatment plants in the Republic of Armenia using advanced and innovative technologies was discussed.
The progress of the implemented programs was discussed in detail, in particular, the planned work on improving water resources management and wastewater treatment systems.
Summing up the session, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan gave instructions to the relevant departments.
