Arayik Harutyunyan meets with Mark Clayton, Deputy Director and Head of the Central Asia and Eastern Neighbourhood Department at the UK FCDO
Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan met with Mark Clayton, Deputy Director and Head of the Central Asia and Eastern Neighbourhood Department at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office
Arayik Harutyunyan welcomed Mark Clayton’s visit to Armenia and noted with satisfaction that in recent years, Armenia-UK bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest has been consistently developing and deepening.
Mark Clayton, in turn, emphasized the UK’s readiness to support democratic reforms in Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed a range of issues of mutual interest, including issues related to deepening cooperation in the fields of trade, economic and business ties, education and science. Both sides emphasized the importance of raising relations between Armenia and the UK to the level of strategic partnership and entering a new stage of cooperation.
