Arayik Harutyunyan meets with the representative of the International Organization of Francophonie and the Director of the International Games Committee
Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan met with Eric Poppe, the representative of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) for Central and Eastern Europe, and Vivien Lubczanski, the Director of the International Games Committee of Francophonie.
The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister welcomed Eric Poppe and Vivien Lubczanski to Armenia and expressed confidence that their visit will contribute to joint efforts to prepare for the upcoming games.
Arayik Harutyunyan also congratulated Vivien Lubczanski on his appointment as the Director of the International Games Committee of Francophonie, expressing confidence that his experience and skills will best serve the activities of the committee.
Eric Poppe and Vivien Lubczanski, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and emphasized the importance of close cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to the holding of the 2027 Francophonie Games in Armenia, in particular, they touched upon the organizational work, the process of preparing infrastructure, and exchanged views on various observations and proposals.
Arayik Harutyunyan emphasized that the efforts made by the Government of Armenia and the effective work with the International Committee of the Francophonie Games will allow for the best organization and holding of the Games in Armenia.
