Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan receives the newly appointed Head of the European Investment Bank’s South Caucasus Regional Representation
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan today received a delegation led by the Head of European Investment Bank's Regional Representation for South Caucasus Stella Renita.
Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Prime Minister congratulated Ms. Renita on assuming the position, emphasizing the importance of continuing the cooperation established with the EIB, both in terms of implementing large infrastructure and private sector development programs.
The interlocutors exchanged views on initiatives aimed at strengthening regional connectivity within the framework of the “Crossroads of Peace” project. In this context, special attention was paid to the current cooperation within the framework of the North-South Road Corridor Investment Program and the prospects for its expansion.
A number of issues related to the effective management of water and energy systems, as well as the improvement of educational infrastructure, were also discussed during the meeting.
