Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan meets with the EBRD Managing Director for Türkiye and the Caucasus
Today, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan met with the EBRD Managing Director for Türkiye and the Caucasus, Elisabetta Falcetti. The Head of the EBRD Yerevan Office, George Akhalkatsi, was also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation, including the progress of the construction of the Sisian-Kajaran road section of the North-South Road Corridor, as well as possible cooperation in the areas of water system and solid waste management.
Special attention was also paid to the progress of the housing program for forcibly displaced persons and issues related to their socio-economic inclusion. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the work carried out by the EBRD to promote entrepreneurial activities of forcibly displaced persons, as well as to ensure employment through their retraining and qualification improvement.
