By the decision of the Government, another plot of land adjacent to the Yerevan TV tower was attached to the Ministry of Environment
Today, the regular Cabinet meeting took place, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.
The government approved a targeted measure of state support aimed at ensuring the diversification of supply chains for textile sector organizations. Currently, trade on online platforms has become an important factor in increasing the visibility and accessibility of Armenian products in both local and international markets. The rapid pace of technological development creates new opportunities for selling products in different markets, and many manufacturers can use these platforms to expand their exports and increase international sales volumes. The adoption of the decision will allow ensuring high-quality growth and development of the textile industry in Armenia, promoting the stability, efficiency and competitiveness of economic operators.
The Government adopted a decision by which the land plot of 1,773 hectares, located in the territory adjacent to G. Hovsepyan Street, Nork-Marash, Yerevan, with a cadastral value of 1,044,444,159 drams, which is the property of the Republic of Armenia, has been transferred to the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia. The real estate will be transferred to the “Hayantar” State Non-Profit Organization with the right of gratuitous use for an indefinite period of time to carry out activities in accordance with the organization’s statutory functions.
Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan emphasized: “Only in the territory adjacent to the Yerevan TV Tower, as a result of satisfying the claims of the Prosecutor General’s Office, a land plot of about 7 hectares has been returned to the Republic of Armenia to date, the total cadastral value of which is 3 billion drams, or 7.8 million US dollars, approximated to the market price.”
The Government determined that the requirement for the purchase of the service for the development of design and estimate documents for the construction/reconstruction of a football stadium in Vanadzor according to UEFA standards, within the framework of the measure “Construction of stadiums and sports schools for the development of football infrastructure” of the “Mass sport” program, reserved for the Urban Development Committee of the Republic of Armenia, is considered urgent. As a result of the decision, it will be possible to urgently launch the development of design and estimate documents for the construction/reconstruction of a football stadium in Vanadzor according to UEFA standards, guaranteeing the completion of the project by January 2029, ahead of the 2029 FIFA World Youth Championship to be held in Armenia.
