The process of providing subsidies to communities continues. The Government has allocated more than 713 million drams









The regular Cabinet meeting took place today, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan.

By the decision of the Government, it is proposed to allocate 713,909.6 thousand drams from the 2025 budget to the regional administrations to fulfill financial obligations to the relevant construction organizations. As a result, the process of providing subsidies to communities will be ensured.

The Government has approved the 2025-2030 Comprehensive Atmospheric Monitoring Programme, the purpose of which is to modernize the atmospheric air quality monitoring system and bring it into line with international standards.

Tigran Khachatryan emphasized that accurate information on the environment, in particular air quality, is extremely important, since all decisions are derived from correct assessments of the situation. “Without a modern complex monitoring infrastructure, it is difficult to respond, and the measures that you mentioned, both permanent stations and the importance of acquiring mobile stations as mentioned in the measures, are the necessary actions that should allow forming a database of this high-quality information. But it is also extremely important that cooperation with inspection bodies be so operative and effective that the observations made by us are followed by decisions. And these decisions prevent the possibility of such activities that cause unauthorized damage to air quality,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

The government has adopted a decision "On establishing a visa-free regime for citizens of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman, as well as foreigners with residence status in the territory of the United States of America, the European Union countries, the Schengen Agreement countries, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait or the Sultanate of Oman."

Tigran Khachatryan attached importance to the adopted decision and emphasized that it will contribute to the activation of tourism flows, as well as the promotion of investment opportunities in the country.

The government decided to donate a 3.41009-hectare residential development plot of land within the administrative boundaries of the Tatev community of Syunik region to the Tufenkian Charitable Foundation. According to the substantiation, emphasizing the need to ensure the balanced development of border settlements and alleviate the housing crisis of families displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, the Tufenkian Charitable Foundation, in cooperation with the local self-government bodies of the Tatev community, plans to implement the “Development of the Svarants Village of the Tatev Community of Syunik Region of the Republic of Armenia” program in the Svarants village, within the framework of the program approved by the decision of May 16, 2024: construction of 20 residential houses for 20 families who have received a certificate and agreed to become beneficiaries of this program, construction of 20 barns for the mentioned families, furnishing of the mentioned 20 houses and installation of 20 solar heaters, as well as installation of 34 solar heaters for the houses of the village residents, renovation of the village administrative building, medical center and kindergarten, construction of a playground and improvement of the cemetery. By the corresponding decision of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia of March 4, 2025, the program was qualified as charitable.
