Arayik Harutyunyan receives the President and Secretary General of the European Cycling Union
Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan received the President of the European Cycling Union Enrico Della Casa and the Secretary General of the Union Alasdair MacLennan. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Hasmik Avagyan, President of the Cycling Federation of Armenia Ara Sadoyan and Secretary Vahagn Tukharyan.
The work carried out towards the development of cycling in Armenia and future programs were discussed.
Arayik Harutyunyan expressed gratitude for the support provided to the development of this sport in our country and presented the steps taken by the Armenian Government in this direction. In particular, it was noted that bicycles were provided to schools ahead of the “RA Prime Minister’s Cup” road cycling tournament.
Enrico Della Casa once again expressed the readiness of the European Cycling Union to support the development and popularization of cycling in our country.
