The opportunity of using the agricultural machinery leasing support program will be doubled
Today, the regular Cabinet meeting took place, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.
The Government made a decision aimed at creating equal conditions for entities operating in the field of urban development, radically reforming the sector (from the development of information modeling projects of structures to construction programs), clarifying the Client-Contractor relations between urban development entities, strengthening trust, increasing the quality indicators of urban development objects, forecasting and calculating real costs of assessment.
The Government made a decision to amend and supplement the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated January 27, 2022, “On Approving the Agricultural Machinery Leasing Support Program in the Republic of Armenia.” The proposed amendment aims to develop a unified/uniform policy within the framework of state support programs in the agricultural sector, contributing to the establishment of large and productive farms in agriculture. The total amount of leasing objects acquired by the same lessee within the framework of the current agricultural machinery leasing support program is a maximum of 250.0 million drams and does not agive the lessees an opportunity to implement larger investment projects. The adoption of the decision will enable the same lessee to acquire leasing objects worth up to 500.0 million drams within the framework of the program, which will contribute to the creation of favorable conditions for the effective use of agricultural land and the organization of commodity production through the renewal of the agricultural machinery fleet and cost reduction.
The Government made a decision, by which, as a result of the adoption of the bills on amendments and additions to the Law "On Higher Education and Science" and related laws, it is expected to ensure the existence of legal bases, principles, conditions, authorizing norms, and unified regulations for the development of necessary policies in the fields of higher education and science, contributing to the achievement of the targets set by the Law "On Approval of the State Program for the Development of Education of the Republic of Armenia until 2030".
The Government made a decision, by which it is expected to improve the state registration process of vehicles, as well as to ensure the digitalization of the process of obtaining a driver's license and to provide an opportunity for a person who has failed the qualification exam for obtaining a driver's license to participate in the next qualification exam in an extraordinary manner for a fee established by law.
