Arayik Harutyunyan participates in the official ceremony of cancellation of the postage stamp on the theme "State Award of the Republic of Armenia for Global Contribution to High Technologies"
Chief of the Prime Minister’s Staff Arayik Harutyunyan participated in the cancellation ceremony of the postcard with one stamp and a special envelope dedicated to the theme "State Award of the Republic of Armenia for Global Contribution to High Technologies". The event took place at the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
The stamp and the special envelope were cancelled by the Chief of the Prime Minister’s Staff Arayik Harutyunyan, Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, the 15th laureate of the State Award of the Republic of Armenia for Global Contribution to High Technologies, Japanese scientist, President of LOCOMTEC AIPS Laboratory Yoshiaki Damon Hagiwara, CEO of “Haypost” CJSC Shushan Aleksanyan, General Director of “Viva Armenia” CJSC Armen Avetisyan, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Award, director of “Synopsis Armenia” and President of the Philatelists' Union of Armenia Hovik Musayelyan.
Before the award ceremony, Arayik Harutyunyan welcomed those present and happily noted the fact that another giant of the technological sector was once again honored in the Republic of Armenia. “I am sure that this award in the field of high technologies has been called the Oscar of this field. And we are sure that the people who receive this award are first of all appreciated by the Republic of Armenia for their contribution, in addition, these people get connected with Armenia. And we have a great hope that with this they also contribute to the development of this sector in the Republic of Armenia. I would like to thank Mr. Hagiwara for this honor of visiting the Republic of Armenia and accepting the award. I will never tire of repeating at every such ceremony that few people are awarded such an honor in the Republic of Armenia, especially during their lifetime. I want to express my joy that the name of such a distinguished guest has found a place on one of the symbols of Armenia, one of the symbols of any state - a postage stamp and an envelope,” said the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, once again welcoming Yoshiaki Damon Hagiwara in Armenia and expressed confidence that the days spent here will be remembered by him for a long time.
The postage stamp with a face value of 400 drams depicts a medal, which is awarded to the laureate of the award, and the postcard depicts the 2022 awardee of the State Award in the Sphere of High Technologies CEO of Adpbe Systems Shantanu Narayen, the 2023 awardee -founder of Infosys Narayana Murthy, and the 2024 awardee - Japanese scientist and President of LOCOMTEC AIPS Laboratory Yoshiaki Damon Hagiwara.
The special envelope features the 15th laureate of the Republic of Armenia Award for World Contribution to High Technologies 2024, the president of LOCOMTEC AIPS Laboratory Yoshiaki Damon Hagiwara, and a postage block with two stamps dedicated to the theme "State Award of the Republic of Armenia for World Contribution to High Technologies".
