Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan receives the head of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Armenia
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received the head of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Armenia Thierry Ribault and the Secretary General of the Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) Anna Yeghiazaryan.
During the meeting, reference was made to the humanitarian situation resulted by the forced displacement of more than 100,000 Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh.
The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the active involvement of the ICRC and the ARCS in the process of addressing the primary needs of our compatriots, expressing confidence in the effective partnership regarding medium-term and long-term support programs.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues aimed at addressing the social and health needs of people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.
