Tigran Khachatryan receiveս US Ambassador Kristina Kvien
Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan received the newly appointed US Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien. Congratulating the Ambassador, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed confidence that Armenian-American relations will continue to develop and expand during her tenure.
The Deputy Prime Minister presented to the Ambassador the economic indicators recorded last year and noted that the United States occupies a key place not only in the political but also in the economic life of Armenia. Tigran Khachatryan emphasized the importance of the further development of the Armenian-American mutual investment environment and the promotion of trade and economic cooperation.
Ambassador Kvien conveyed to the Deputy Prime Minister the commitment of the USA to always support Armenia's economic and political agenda.
Among other issues of mutual interest, the parties also discussed the situation in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh resulted by Azerbaijani aggression, expressing concern about the humanitarian crisis among in Artsakh.
