The comprehensive plan for the restoration of Sevan trout stocks and the development of fish farming presented to the Deputy Prime Minister
Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan, accompanied by Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, Gegharkunik Governor Karen Sargsyan and other officials, visited the juvenile fish production factory of the “The fund of restoration of stocks of Sevan trout and development of aquaculture" located in the Karchaghbyur settlement of Vardenis community, Gegharkunik Province, where two subspecies of endemic Sevan trout are grown: gegharkuni and summer.
During the visit, the Director of the Fund presented to the Deputy Prime Minister the current situation related to the production and the comprehensive plan developed for the most efficient implementation of the future tasks. At the end of the discussion, Deputy Prime Minister Khachatryan gave relevant instructions to the representatives of the state departments and the director of the Fund.
