Deputy PM Matevosyan participates in the Global Innovation Forum

Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan participated today in the fourth Global Innovation Forum, which is held by the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology in cooperation with the Government of Armenia.

The Global Innovation Forum, which this year has the title "Technologies Transforming Life", is the Foundation's annual event, which focuses on the applications of artificial intelligence and their impact on human activity. The Forum brought together in Armenia leading representatives of the scientific world and business circles to discuss innovative approaches and emerging challenges in the field and outline possible solutions.

Welcoming the participants of the Forum, Deputy Prime Minister Matevosyan emphasized that the Armenian Government gives priority to ensuring the necessary preconditions for the implementation of innovative programs. "The modernization of Armenia's economy, based on the promotion of high technologies, innovation and creative education, is the pillar of our development agenda," said the Deputy Prime Minister.

According to Hambardzum Matevosyan, Armenia, as a participant in global processes, effectively uses the opportunities provided by the digital age through its human capital. "We need to form a comprehensive understanding of the extent to which artificial intelligence is transforming the global economic infrastructure, and our persistent work should be aimed at ensuring continuous cooperation between humans and machines," Matevosyan emphasized.

It should be noted that the event, as a platform combining the experience of the Government, international organizations and financial institutions, is a good opportunity to outline technological solutions for challenges in agriculture, finance, healthcare, education and other fields.
