Arayik Harutyunyan receives the newly appointed Ambassador of Syria to Armenia Nora Arisian
Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Armenia Nora Arisian.
Welcoming the guest, Arayik Harutyunyan congratulated the Ambassador on the appointment and wished her fruitful work.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the current state and ppromising directions of bilateral relations.
The parties emphasized that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Syria. Reference was also made to the Syrian-Armenian community as a bridging factor between the two countries.
