Arayik Harutyunyan participated in the closing ceremony of the 33rd International Biology Olympiad
Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Armenia, participated in the closing ceremony of the 33rd International Biology Olympiad at the A. Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Academic Theater today. The event was also attended by the Chairperson of the Steering Committee of the International Biology Olympiad Riochi Matsuda, rector of Yerevan State University Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, ministers, ambassadors, Olympiad participants from 70 countries of the world, and guests.
Before awarding of the medals, the ector of Yerevan State University, Chairperson of the Steering Committee of the International Biology Olympiad made closing speeches and congratulated everyone on the successful holding of this important scientific and educational event in Armenia.
During the event, the results of the 33rd International Biology Olympiad were summarized. Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, rector of Yerevan State University Hovhannes Hovhannisyan handed over the gold, silver and bronze medals respectively to the winners of the Olympiad.
