Deputy PM Hambardzum Matevosyan discusses the development programs of the capital with the Mayor of Yerevan
Today, Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan received the newly elected Mayor of Yerevan Hrachya Sargsyan.
Hambardzum Matevosyan congratulated the Mayor on assuming the responsible position and wished him fruitful work for the benefit of the residents of the capital.
The agenda of the meeting referred to the implementation of a number of programs and works aimed at the development of Yerevan, which the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan had put forward during the recent meeting with the Mayor.
The discussion also focused on issues related to the implementation of the "Old Yerevan" historical-architectural environment program, the construction of the 33rd district of Yerevan (Firdusi), road construction, school and kindergarten construction, as well as the cleanliness of the capital.
Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan stressed that discussions in that format will be continuous, and the implementation of the capital's development programs will be in the center of his attention.
