INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

 
 

Overall coordination of the activities of Inter-Governmental Committees is performed by the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Republic of Armenia Ministry of Foreign Affairs nominates to the RoA Prime Minister representatives of bodies of executive authority to be appointed to the Armenian side of inter-governmental committees of the Republic of Armenia.

The RoA Prime Minister shall approve the names of individuals making up the Armenian side of inter-governmental committees of the Republic of Armenia and shall appoint the heads of such committees with the consent of the RoA President.

The heads of the Armenian side of inter-governmental committees shall submit to the RoA President annual reports on the activities of their respective committees.

Once every six months, inter-governmental committees will submit to the RoA Ministry of Foreign Affairs information on their ongoing efforts.

As a rule, sessions of inter-governmental committees are held once or twice a year.
