New certificates for residential houses in Yerevan

The briefing which followed today’s government sitting treated of the amendments to the law “On the status of Yerevan-located private residential houses with no ownership certificates.”

The matter was commented on by Deputy Head of State Committee on Immovable Property Cadastre by the Government Ashot Musoyan. According to the speaker, the law has been effective since 2008 applicable to those houses in want of ownership certificates. This was necessary to ensure that the provisions of the RA law “On the status of private residential houses with no ownership certificates” and the amendments to the law “On the status of Yerevan-located private residential houses with no ownership certificates” are extended to all the communities in the Republic of Armenia.

Ashot Musoyan advised that the size of rehabilitated plots of land will be 300 sq. m. in Yerevan, 400 sq. m. - in other urban settlements, and 1000 sq. m. – in rural settlements.
