The draft law prescribes a procedure to follow in making implants and transplants

RA Deputy Minister of Healthcare Haik Darbinyan commented on the amendments to the law on human tissue or organ transplantation during the briefing that followed today’s government sitting.

He advised that highly technological medical implantation services are provided by many healthcare institutions and dental clinics operational in Armenia. Where it seems impossible to find natural substitutes for damaged tissues or organs of humans, physicians resort to manmade ones.

Implants substitute for lacking or damaged tissues or organs. Implantation procedures, terms and restrictions are defined based on doctor’s instructions issued for each individual patient.
