All Welfare Payments Increased

The Cabinet met in their last sitting of 2011, chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. Pursuant to amended government decree, base pension rate will be up about 24% as of January 1, 2012, from AMD 10,500 to AMD 13 thousand. European Union Seeks Enhanced Relationship With Armenia

Member of RPA executive authority, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended the meeting of Kentron district’s Amiryan-1 primary organization. The agenda featured election of delegates for the 13th congress of the Republican Party of Armenia. The voting resulted in Tigran Sargsyan’s nomination as a congress delegate.
