Today RA government commission on coordination of charitable programs has met, presided at by commission chairman S. Ter-Simonyan.
The commission has examined 5 charitable programs. In particular, approved was a project carried out by "Hayastan" pan-Armenian fund on import and free delivery of equipment for "The Yerevan Club of the Armenian Yachting Federation" non-governmental organization and an "Anoushavan Abrahamyan" Educational Foundation-implemented project for the repair of the roofing of "The Ararat State College" SNCO.
The purpose of "International Christian Cultural Services" philanthropic NGO-implemented programs entitled respectively "Organization of Holidays," "Shoe Box," and "Summer Camps" is to help 2-14 years old children from vulnerable households have summer holidays and get the presents packed in shoe boxes by children of the same age from different countries of the world.
The commission has also examined a series of follow-up projects under the previously approved ones, as well as programs of import of charitable freight addressed to various organizations operational in Armenia.
