The Government of the Republic of Armenia

Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the Economy-Related Legal Act Reform Council of the Republic of Armenia met in the Office of Government.

Before the meeting, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan congratulated Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan on birthday, wishing him good health and every success.

Acting Director of “National Center for Legislative Regulation” PE by Government Staff Armen Yeghiazaryan presented a package of proposals on transport sector that are relevant to taxi-borne and regular passenger traffic and inland freight.

Mr. Yegiazaryan reported back the findings of surveys on licensing and exercise of those activities.

The package of legislation takes into account the international experience. With the adoption of the package, there will be invalidated some legal acts, a number of instruments will be improved while reducing required for business operations processes.
