Armenian-Bulgarian Relations Discussed

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to Armenia Georgi Karastamatov.

Congratulating the Ambassador on assumption of office, the Prime Minister wished him every success in his future endeavors.

“The government of Armenia will do its utmost so that you can live up to your important mission,” Tigran Sargsyan said.

Talking about the bonds of friendship existing between the two countries, the parties stressed the importance of the forthcoming regular sitting of the Armenian-Bulgarian intergovernmental commission to be held later this year in Sofia.

Georgy Karastamatov forwarded Prime Minister Boyko Borisov’s invitation for his Armenian counterpart to visit Bulgaria at his convenience. The Ambassador advised that Armenian culture days will be held in Bulgaria during the running year.
