Consultation on Preparations for Jubilee Events Dedicated to 1050th Anniversary of Ani Proclamation as Capital of Bagratid Kingdom
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan called a consultative meeting to discuss preparations for jubilee events dedicated to the 1050th anniversary of Ani proclamation as capital of the Bagratid Kingdom.
The meeting discussed the composition of the committee on preparation of anniversary events, the program of events and financial issues. Under the proposed program of events, Armenia and Diaspora communities will host a series of events, including an international symposium in Yerevan, exhibitions in Armenia and the Diaspora. A photo album is to be published on this occasion.
It was proposed to create a website of 3D display of Ani capital, as well as to make a film on the capital of medieval Armenia.
In conclusion, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan advised that the committee will be chaired by NAS President, Academician Radik Martirosyan.
