The Prime Minister received Youth against Corruption program representatives




Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Youth against Corruption program representatives to discuss program activities.

Strong with its over thirty members, on careful examination of RA laws on higher and post-graduate vocational education, road traffic safety enforcement and pharmaceutical industry, the group has tried to reveal such ambiguities as might cause corruption risks in the country.

The following issues of topical interest were raised during the meeting: poor management of higher educational institutions, pharmaceuticals-related healthcare problems, Homeland-Diaspora cooperation and corruption risks. Presenting his vision of remedial action, Tigran Sargsyan said the proposals formulated at the meeting would be given due consideration by his government.

After a complete and in-depth description of all available problems, the members of The Future is Yours NGO thanked the Prime Minister for sustained focus on youth’s concerns and his openness to discuss any burning issue with the representatives of civil society in an effort to find mutually acceptable solutions.

The meeting next discussed young people’s numerous recommendations and proposals concerning the aforementioned laws which will be submitted to the Government as finalized during the upcoming anticorruption campus to be held on August 24-27, 2010.
