An agreement signed between the government of the Republic of Armenia and the government of the State of Kuwait on encouragement and mutual protection of investments
RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today a delegation led Minister of Finance of the State of Kuwait Mustafa Jasem Al-Shamali who is in Armenia on a two-day official visit.
Greeting the guest, Tigran Sargsyan noted: “We very much appreciate the strengthening of relationship with Kuwait. We have quite a promising record of interaction. I am convinced that your visit will go a long way toward the furtherance of ties between our two countries.”
The parties went on to discuss implementation of joint projects in a number of fields. They exchanged views on the ways of catalyzing business ties in mining industry, tourism and air communications. The need for establishing an intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation was emphasized on either side.
Thanking the Prime Minister of Armenia for a warm welcome, Mustafa Jasem Al-Shamali forwarded greetings on behalf of the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait.
Tigran Sargsyan in turn conveyed warm greetings to his Kuwaiti counterpart and invited him to visit Armenia at his convenience.
Attended by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Republic of Armenia Minister of Finance Tigran Davtyan and Minister of Finance of the State of Kuwait Mustafa Jasem Al-Shamali signed an agreement between the government of the Republic of Armenia and the government of the State of Kuwait on encouragement and mutual protection of investments.
