Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation of IMF executive directors.
The Prime Minister briefed the delegation on Armenia’s economic status and development prospects.
The executive directors assured that the Fund is highly appreciative of RA Government’s anti-crisis action and the results obtained. The IMF representatives advised that the Government’s request for support of the ongoing tax reform has been given a favorable consideration, and a permanent representative-expert is going to be sent to our country to assist the Government with hits important task.
During the meeting, the parties have spoken about the pace of the ongoing programs and reforms, the efforts for infrastructure development and regional cooperation.
