Head of RF Government Victor Zubkov has sent a congratulatory message to Tigran Sargsyan on his appointment to the office of RA Prime Minister. The message states in part:
"Dear Tigran Surenovich!
Please accept my sincere congratulations on your appointment to the post of Prime Minister of the Republic Armenia.
The Russian side attaches great importance to the deepening of strategic partnership and strengthening of mutually advantageous relations with Armenia. The multifaceted ties available in different areas of cooperation are extending. Trade turnover and Russian investments which are important to the development of key areas of Armenia's economy have been growing on a yearly basis. Collective Security Treaty Organization Secretary-General Nikolai Bordyuzha has sent a congratulatory message to Tigran Sargsyan on his appointment to the office of RA Prime Minister. The message states in part:
