Congratulatory messages continue to be received in connection with the election of Serzh Sargsyan as President of the Republic of Armenia.
The message sent by President of the Swiss Confederation Pascal Couchepin states in part:
"On behalf of the Council of the Swiss Confederation, I am writing to extend to you my sincere congratulations on your winning of the presidential election of the Republic of Armenia and wish you every success in your high duty. At the same time, I take this opportunity to wish you personal well-being, as well as peace and prosperity to your country.
I am convinced that the good relationship between our two countries will continue developing in future."
